Access & Security

You can log in to Secure E-mail with your e-mail address and password. If you do not have an account, but received a Secure E-mail message, you will be prompted to enroll for an account, so that you can receive your message.

Get a Secure E-mail Account

You will be automatically enrolled in Secure E-mail by the sender of your message. You will then be prompted to complete enrollment (set up your account) when you retrieve your message.

Log in to Secure E-mail

To log in to Secure E-mail:

  1. In your web browser, access the Secure E-mail site ( The Secure E-mail Login page displays.

  2. Type your e-mail address and password in the corresponding fields.

  • Your e-mail address and password are case sensitive, so be careful to enter them correctly.

  • If you enter an incorrect password too many times, your account will become disabled. If this happens, call your Paychex contact or representative to re-enable your account.
  1. Click Login to begin your Secure E-mail session. After you login, your Inbox page will open.

Log out of Secure E-mail

To end your session, click Logout under My Menu.

Note: If you log in and keep your Secure E-mail page open for a long period of time with no activity, you may get logged out automatically. You also may get an error message that your URL has expired. If this happens, log in to Secure E-mail again.
